As the rise of video content in social media continuously rises, drone footage is giving us the wow factor whenever we see one. Not only that, the prices of these drones have significantly dropped from a couple of years since, so owning one is not impossible anymore.
For those of you who one this magnificent tool, we share to you today 7 drone video editing tips presented by Photographer Tony Northup.
Tony starts his tips by giving the importance of leveling the horizon on your edit. There are a couple of times when you get slanted horizon due to unavoidable circumstances, and it pays to level to horizon for more 'pro' look. Next, he tell us to Zoom In — since a lot of these drones come in wide angle lenses. Especially when you shoot 4K, you can zoom in your footage up to 200% and you'll still have good resolution (when you're editing in 1080 or 720). Tony ends his video with a bonus tip that is worth waiting.
